Technical Services Manager

We are currently working with a well-established fit-out contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services Manager to support the delivery of commercial fit-out projects across London.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the management and coordination of all M&E / technical services from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, working closely with the project team, consultants and specialist subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage M&E services across fit-out projects from design through to completion

*

Coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors

*

Review drawings, technical submissions and design information

*

Manage RFIs, variations and technical queries

*

Oversee commissioning, testing and handover

*

Monitor programme, quality and progress of building services

*

Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and Design Managers

*

Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings

*

Ensure M&E installations are delivered in line with programme and specification

*

Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues

Requirements:

*

Previous experience working as a Technical Services Manager, M&E Manager or Building Services Manager

*

Strong commercial fit-out experience

*

Good understanding of both mechanical and electrical services

*

Experience managing projects through design, installation, commissioning and handover

*

Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills

*

Comfortable working in a client-facing environment

*

Main contractor or fit-out contractor experience preferred
