We are recruiting a General Manager for a well-established city pub in Westminster, offering a rare opportunity for a commercially driven operator to take ownership of a sizeable venue and drive its next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on role for someone with a proven track record of running successful pubs, increasing revenue and building profitable businesses through strong operations, excellent team leadership and a proactive approach to sales.

A key part of the role will be maximising the venue's private hire potential, developing corporate relationships and using the space to generate additional revenue through events and functions.

The role

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the venue.

• Drive sales growth, with a clear focus on increasing weekly revenue and profitability.

• Maximise private hire and venue hire opportunities, working closely with the sales team to develop new business.

• Build relationships with local businesses and corporate clients to increase repeat bookings and after-work trade.

• Lead, develop and motivate the team, creating clear standards and accountability across the operation.

• Manage labour costs, rotas, stock and margins to improve overall financial performance.
