HGV Class 1 Drivers TRAMPING Rochdale Amazon Trunking Work 18th October 2026 – 9th January 2027 First Logistics are recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers for ongoing Amazon trunking work based in Rochdale, with potential work available from 18th October 2026 through to 9th January 2027.

The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.

The Role 99% box trailer work, with a small number of curtain siders during peak periods.

Amazon depots conveniently located just off motorways, with minimal city-centre driving.

All tours start on a Sunday, with start times between 2am and 11pm.

Tours finish on Thursday or in the early hours of Friday.

No manual handling required.

Drivers are not permitted to access the back of trailers.

Full tour details and navigation provided through a driver app.

Pay Rates (holiday upfront): Day shift
- £230 Night shift
- £240 Night out
- £26.20 Pay Rates (holiday accrued): Day shift
- £205 Night shift
- £214 Night out
- £26.20 Requirements: Valid Category CE / HGV Class 1 licence Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card At least 12 months of experience as a Class 1 Driver Comfortable using a driver app for navigation and tour instructions. xwzovoh

Able to complete a DBS check, drug and alcohol test, and site induction before starting.
