Health & Safety Advisor

We are working with a construction business looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to support health and safety standards across its construction sites and office operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an introductory Health & Safety qualification, current NEBOSH/IOSH studies or practical construction experience who is keen to build their knowledge and progress their career. Working alongside an experienced Health & Safety Manager, you will receive guidance, training and ongoing support while taking responsibility for routine site inspections and helping ensure safe working practices are maintained. • Your responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out routine health and safety inspections across allocated construction sites.
• Identifying potential hazards and checking safe working practices, including PPE, access routes, welfare facilities, work at height and plant movements.
• Checking risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and helping ensure site teams follow agreed procedures.
