HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) – Temporary Ongoing Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme Pay: £15.00 - £16.81 per hour We're currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a temporary ongoing position with a well-established, family-run logistics company based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Our client has over 40 years of experience within the transport and logistics industry and has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable nationwide distribution, warehousing and fulfilment services. Operating as part of one of the UK's leading pallet networks, they are known for their high standards, modern fleet and supportive transport operation. The Role * Temporary ongoing assignment with regular, consistent work * Multi-drop deliveries and collections * Local and regional deliveries * Curtain-sided vehicle work * Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pallet truck where required * An element of handball involved * Completing vehicle checks and all relevant paperwork * Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high safety standards Requirements * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence * Must have held your Class 2 licence for a minimum of 2 years * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Previous multi-drop or pallet network experience is advantageous * Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties * Reliable, professional and safety-conscious Pay Rates * £15.00 - £16.81 per hour What You'll Get * Temporary ongoing work with regular shifts * Weekly pay * Opportunity to work with a respected and long-established logistics operation * Modern, well-maintained fleet * Friendly and supportive transport team * Immediate starts available for the right candidates If you're an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for temporary ongoing work with a reputable logistics company, we'd love to hear from you
