The Role - KS2 Primary Class Teacher
As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a key role in preparing pupils for the next stage of their education, developing secure subject knowledge, independence, and confidence. You will teach within a structured, well-sequenced curriculum designed to support high-quality teaching while allowing space for professional judgement and creativity.

You will join a collaborative Key Stage 2 team, contributing to shared planning, consistent expectations, and a culture of continual improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers, including those looking to take on additional responsibility in the future.

Key Responsibilities - KS2 Primary Class Teacher

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Create a purposeful, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

  • Assess, monitor, and respond to pupil progress effectively

  • Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations, including SATs

  • Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents

The Ideal Candidate - KS2 Primary Class Teacher

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience or a strong interest in teaching Key Stage 2

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice

  • Is committed to high standards and raising attainment for all pupils
