LitigationDepartmentBackground: Our client's litigation team has extensive experience in acting for both claimants and defendants, representing individuals, companies, charities or those involved in group litigation, in complex and high value civil / commercial litigation matters , including: BankruptcyandInsolvency BuildingDisputes CivilFraud Consumer/CommercialDisputes ContractDisputes Debt InterimApplications InternationalCrossBorderDisputes ContentiousProbateDisputes ProfessionalNegligence ResidentialPropertyDisputes ThelawyersofferadviceandassistanceindisputeresolutionandlitigatedcasesandregularlyactsinreportedcasesintheHighCourtandtheCourtofAppeal.TheirLitigationteamisequippedtotakeswiftactiontoprotectourclientsinterestsandofferthebestrepresentationforanycourtaction.

MainDutiesandResponsibilities: ReportdirectlytoDepartmentDirector Professionalpro-activeapproach,strongclientcareskillsandasensitiveandsympatheticunderstandingofclientsneeds ResponsibleforallaspectsofContentiousProbateLitigationworkandonoccasions,whereappropriateprovidingtechnicalexpertiseandguidancetootherteammembers Abilitytomanageappropriatecaseloadtypesandcomplexities AssistingwithcaseworkincludingdealingwitharangeofContentiousProbateLitigationcasesincluding:InheritanceDependantsAct1975claims;Proprietaryestoppelclaims;WilldisputeschallengingWillsonthebasisofcapacity;duressandforgery;RemovingExecutorsintheirrolesforfailuretoadministertheestate;Devastavitclaims.

Undertakingyourownadvocacy Attendingclients,takinginstructionsandpreparingcases Dealingwithcorrespondence Maintainingaccuratetimecostingprocedures Implementinganyrecommendationsmadebyyoursupervisorfollowingmonthlyfilereviewsensuringthatthesearedealtwithpromptly Ensuringcompliancewithfilemanagement.

KeySkillsRequired QualifiedSolicitororCharteredLegalExecutivewith2-4yearsofprovenexperienceinWillsandProbatelaw Musthaveaclean,validPracticingCertificateatthetimeofapplying Committedteamplayerandadaptwelltonewchallenges Previousprovensupervisoryexperienceandworkingtokeyperformanceindicatorsisanadvantage Professionalwithapro-activeapproach;excellentclientcareskillsandabilitytodealwithclientmattersinasensitivemannerandresolvecomplicatedpracticalities ExcellentnetworkingandcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytosuccessfullymarkettheCompanyandgeneratenewbusiness Excellentanalyticalandorganizationalskills Abilitytouseowninitiativeandsoundjudgment WorkingknowledgeofthepublicallyfundedLitigationworkandhavetheabilitytoserviceprivatelyfundedcases HaveextensiveexperienceindealingwithLitigationrelatedwork Experienceinownadvocacyisanadvantage ExcellentITSkills-familiarwithMicrosoftOfficeapplicationsanddocumentmanagementskills Thislistisnotexhaustiveandtheremaybeotherdutiesasreasonablyrequired.
