Primary Teacher Year 5

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and ambitious primary school in Sutton. This is a full-time role teaching a Year 5 class, preparing pupils for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2 through engaging lessons and high-quality teaching. You will be: * Teaching a Year 5 class * Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum * Assessing pupil progress and implementing effective interventions * Encouraging pupils to become independent, resilient and confident learners * Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues * Contributing to the wider life of the school and its community The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2. Strong curriculum knowledge, effective classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning are essential. The role includes full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessment, attending meetings and parents' evenings.
