About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Music and Drama Performing Arts Teacher to join our highly committed and professional team. You will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS1, KS2 and KS3, with the ability to support KS4 and KS5 where required.
You will play a key role in developing pupils’ confidence, creativity and performance skills, while supporting vocal and instrumental ensembles and co-leading the junior production each year.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality Music and Drama lessons across KS1-KS3
• Support KS4 and KS5 where required
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons
• Assess and report on pupil progress
• Maintain high standards of behaviour
• Support pupils of all abilities, including SEN and EAL
• Co-lead the junior production
• Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events
Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Music and Drama across KS1-KS3
• Passionate about performing arts and pupil engagement
• Ideally able to support GCSE Music and Drama (A-Level Music Technology desirable)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach
• Committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare
Co-Curricular
The school offers a vibrant co-curricular programme. The successful candidate will be expected to lead at least two after-school activities per week.
