Legal Secretary Location: Newry, County Down Working Hours: MondayFriday, 9.00am5.15pm Salary: £25,000 £30,000 DOE McShanes Solicitors are seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Secretary to join our busy and friendly team in Newry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with previous legal secretarial experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment. The Role You will provide essential administrative and secretarial support to solicitors across a range of legal matters, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Key Responsibilities Preparing correspondence and legal documents Managing emails, filing systems and client records Maintaining appointment diaries and schedules Liaising professionally with clients, agents and third parties Handling client enquiries and providing updates Ensuring files are organised and accessible at all times The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience as a Legal Secretary Experience within conveyancing, family law or litigation preferred Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in typing and digital dictation Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Auto-enrolment pension scheme 29 days annual leave including statutory days Supportive and professional working environment JBLE1_NI
