Civil Litigation Solicitor Minimum 5–6 years PQE Department Civil Litigation PQE required 5–6 years minimum Full-time, permanent Caseload Corporate & private client The opportunity We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor to join our busy Civil Litigation department. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of corporate and private client civil and commercial litigation matters, working with a high degree of autonomy and playing an active role in the continued development of the department. Key responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution Advise corporate and private clients on contentious matters including breach of contract, debt recovery, and commercial disputes Draft and settle pleadings, witness statements, applications, and correspondence Represent clients at hearings, CMCs, and in advocacy before the courts Supervise and mentor junior fee earners within the team Contribute to business development and client relationship management Requirements Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 5–6 years PQE in civil and/or commercial litigation Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and court processes Excellent drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently and to tight deadlines Confident communicator with strong client care skills
