Full Time HGV Class 1 Night Driver

A.M. Transport (Liverpool) Ltd are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a national supermarket client. The role involves transporting ambient and chilled goods to retail outlets. The role is based on a four on, four off *nightly* shift pattern.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Completing nightly vehicle safety inspections.
* Ensuring safe loading/unloading and securing of goods.
* Delivering goods to customer sites safely and efficiently.
* Maintaining accurate transport paperwork.
* Driving safely and responsibly and adhering to Driver' hours and tachograph legislation.
* Professionally representing our client's brand whilst on UK roads.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues.
* Supporting our client's distribution centre by moving trailers and keeping vehicles fuelled.

*You will need:*

* Good Knowledge of the UK road network.
* Experience in delivery of palletised products.
* Experience in self-loading/unloading palletised products.
* Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Minimum 12 months of experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
* Able to adhere to the WTD Drivers Hours.
* Excellent customer service & communication skills.
* Friendly, approachable and reliable.
