Rather than being focused solely on transactional accounting, this role offers involvement in the reporting and analysis activities that support decision-making across the organisation. You'll have the opportunity to develop your understanding of management accounting while building valuable commercial finance experience. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Support month-end close activities and reporting deadlines Prepare journals, accruals and prepayments Complete balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules Assist with the production of monthly reporting packs Analysis & Business Support Analyse financial performance and investigate variances Support budgeting and forecasting processes Assist with cashflow reporting and financial planning activities Produce reports and analysis for finance leadership and operational teams Help identify trends and opportunities for improved financial performance Finance Operations Ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date Support audit preparation and compliance activities Contribute to process improvement initiatives Work closely with stakeholders across the wider business About You This role will suit someone who is curious, commercially minded and eager to continue developing their accounting knowledge. You may currently be working as an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Accounting Technician or in a broader finance position and are looking for increased exposure to management accounting activities.
