Design Architectural Technician

An interesting opportunity exists within Falkirk Council’s Asset and Investment Team, for an Architectural Technician to join the team involved in the design, specification and administration of various exciting projects within the Falkirk Area. These works aim to take account of the Climate emergency and has a focus on sustainability and protecting our environment by reducing the carbon footprint of Falkirk Council’s housing stock, keeping homes warmer and more energy efficient whilst carrying out improvements to existing houses to meet the Scottish Housing Quality Standards (SHQS) and the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH). You will have good communication skills, take the initiative and be fully proficient in the use of AutoCAD, MS packages and familiar with the use of management database systems. SketchUp and Revit knowledge would be desirable.
