Transport Planner

We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our distribution team. This full-time role is based in a busy, fast-paced environment and is key to ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of cable and related products across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily vehicle schedules for distribution
• Monitor and adjust routes in real-time to maintain delivery performance
• Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain compliance with transport regulations and company standards
• Accurately record and report all transport activities and performance data

Requirements:

• Proven experience in transport planning (experience in construction materials distribution is an advantage)
• Good geographical knowledge and a strong understanding of logistics processes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Comfortable using transport planning software and xwzovoh Microsoft Office
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
