Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector Slough Salary = £35K Duties Inspect, measure, and test all incoming goods, materials and components to verify conformity to specifications and industry standards Highlight and document any non-conformities or issues identified during inspection. Support Root Cause Analysis for both supplier and internal rejects, and help determine corrective actions as needed. Monitor and record the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions. Ensure a smooth workflow of inspected goods through to the next stage of production or storage. Liaise with suppliers to resolve non-conformance issues relating to delivered goods. Produce timely, clear, accurate, and comprehensive inspection reports as required (for customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, etc.). Generate and communicate statistical data and inspection summaries as needed. Maintain and complete all inspection documentation to required standards.This includes accurate records for traceability and audit purposes. Ensure safe handling and proper care of QA tools and inspection equipment, maintaining them in good condition. Requirements Previous Quality Inspection experience is essential. Goods In Inspector / Goods Inwards Inspector QC Inspector / Quality Control Inspector QA Inspector / Quality Assurance Inspector QA Technician / Quality Assurance Technician / Quality Technician Experience of using various digital and analogue measurement equipment to determine conformance to specification. For example: gauges, verniers, micrometers, or other inspection equipment. Technical background essential with knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation including preparation of First Article Inspection reports. Experience of reading engineering specifications. e.g. Engineering drawings, tolerances, surface finishes etc. Familiar with Continuous Improvement methodologies, tools and concepts Familiar with Quality concepts and practices. IT experience including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
