Wood Machinist

Wood Machinist Rate: £18 - £22 per hour (DOE) We're recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist to join a leading bespoke joinery manufacturer producing high-quality joinery, furniture and interior fit-out packages for commercial, hospitality, retail and workplace environments. Working within a well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for machining high-quality components to precise specifications while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship and accuracy. The Role Set up and operate a range of woodworking machinery Machine solid timber, MDF, plywood, laminates and veneered boards. Read and work from technical drawings and cutting lists. Produce high-quality components for bespoke joinery and furniture manufacture. Carry out quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards. Requirements Previous experience as a Wood Machinist within a joinery or cabinet manufacturing environment. Confident operating a variety of woodworking machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong understanding of timber, sheet materials and machining techniques. High attention to detail with pride in producing quality workmanship.
