Sous Chef – Gara Rock Hotel* We are looking for a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at Gara Rock Hotel, a stunning coastal retreat known for its fresh, seasonal food and exceptional guest experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef to work in a unique seaside setting and play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.*4,000 per year in service charge (paid monthly) * Opportunity for career progression within a growing hospitality group * Work in a beautiful coastal location with a strong focus on quality ingredients *Support the Head Chef and senior sous chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen * Lead and motivate the kitchen team to maintain high standards * Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control * Assist with menu development, focusing on fresh, seasonal produce * Maintain food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times * Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation * Step up to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence *Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up * Passion for fresh, seasonal food and attention to detail * Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen * Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations * Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Discounted or free food * Free parking * On-site parking
