Job Title: Store Manager The purpose of the Store Manager is to develop and sustain effective management activities that maximise sales & profit targets within the Store, provide optimum customer services and ensure compliance of all company and legislative procedures and policies. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and can provide exceptional customer service. The role requires someone who is organised and can manage their own and other’s time effectively. Self Storage experience would be ideal, but is not necessary, as Full Training is provided. However, people management experience and a record of achieving KPI’s and budgets is essential. The key aspects of the role are converting sales, people management and administration. Who we’re looking for: • Goal oriented, with a proven sales track record • Thrives in a varied, team environment • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills • A good level of numeracy and people management experience What you’ll do: Sales and Customer Service o Convert sales and help customers make informed decisions o Drive the team to achieve sales targets by maximising sales opportunities o Provide outstanding customer service, always keeping our values in mind o Resolve customer complaints, address customer concerns, and explain company or store policies Store growth and development: o Meet the revenue and growth targets, and control costs within a reasonable jurisdiction o Manage the growth and development of the store and employees o Demonstrate an active approach to achieve goals and objectives Manage and train employees: o Recruit, train, develop and support staff to keep the standards of your team high o Motivate staff to give their best results o Provide high levels of leadership, encouragement, training, and support in order to help others achieve their results and meet their budgets Administration: o Ensure effective administration of the store so that company systems, policies and procedures are always adhered to o Create and implement effective marketing plans, and monitoring and reviewing results at regular intervals o Promote the store in the local community by networking and liaising with local shops and businesses Maintenance: o Take pride in the site and maintain excellent standards o Ensure a safe and healthy environment for both staff and customers Charity Participation o We are committed to Corporate Social Responsibility, and we all dedicate 1% of our working time to volunteering or raising funds for charity.
