Class 2 Driver

Evoke Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for regular work, consistent hours, and the chance to secure a permanent position. Shift Pattern * Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday * Week 2: Monday to Saturday, with either Wednesday or Thursday as your rest day * Average 48 hours per working week * 12-hour shifts * Start times from 02.00-04.00 The Role * Delivering goods to supermarket stores(Multi Drop) * Back door deliveries * All products are supplied on wheels, making unloading straightforward * Providing a professional and courteous service at each delivery location * Full induction and ongoing support provided Training During your first week, you will work alongside an experienced driver to familiarise yourself with the routes, delivery procedures, and day-to-day operation before driving independently. Requirements * Valid Class 2 Licence * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations * Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach * Previous supermarket or store delivery experience is advantageous but not essential If you're looking for a long-term driving opportunity with the potential to become a permanent member of the team after 12 weeks, we'd love to hear from you
