Store Person & Driver

Our client is looking for a Store Person and Driver to join their busy Procurement and Logistics team. This is a varied, hands-on role responsible for ensuring essential supplies and equipment are received, stored, and delivered efficiently across multiple healthcare and service locations.

Your Time at Work
The key responsibilities for this role will be:
Receiving, checking, and storing incoming deliveries.
Picking, packing, and dispatching stock and supplies.
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock counts.
Delivering goods and equipment to various sites using company vehicles.
Collecting returned goods and completing associated paperwork.
Processing goods receipt documentation and maintaining accurate records.
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks, refuelling, and ensuring vehicles remain clean and roadworthy.
Responding to delivery and order enquiries from customers and suppliers.

Our Perfect Worker
Suitable candidates will need to have:
Full Category C1 driving licence (up to 7.5 tonnes).
Driver CPC qualification.
Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible approach with a commitment to health and safety procedures.
Experience using stock control or warehouse management systems.
Ability to carry out regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
A proactive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Information and Benefits
£14.22 per hour, paid weekly.
