About the role
Clover Care is recruiting experienced Mental Health and Learning Disability Care Assistants to support individuals across multiple care packages in the Norwich area.
We provide personalised support within clients own homes and community settings, helping them live safely, confidently and as independently as possible. Day shifts, waking nights and longer shifts are available.
Your responsibilities may include:
Providing one-to-one care and support
Supporting personal care and daily living activities
Promoting independence, choice and community involvement
Supporting individuals with routines, appointments and activities
Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes or concerns
Providing medication support within your assessed competencies
Following care plans, risk assessments and behavioural support plans
Using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques
Maintaining accurate care records
Communicating with families and healthcare professionals Depending on the package, experience may be required in: Mental health support
Learning disabilities
Autism and neurodiversity
Positive behaviour support
Behaviours that challenge
Crisis prevention and de-escalation
Emotional regulation
Medication administration
Community-based support
Acquired brain injuries
Epilepsy and seizure management
Personal care and moving and handling Successful applicants should: Have previous mental health, learning disability or support-work experience
Be confident working independently within a clients home or community
Be compassionate, reliable, patient and attentive
Communicate effectively and follow individual support plans
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
Be willing to complete package-specific training and competency assessments
Already have the right to work in the UK What Clover Care offers Flexible day, night and weekend shifts
