Platform Reliability Engineer

Platform Reliability Engineer | £60,000–£70,000 | Milton Keynes (Hybrid)

Synapri are working with an industry-leading, technology-first organisation who are looking to bring on an experienced Platform Reliability Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking technology environment, playing a key role in maintaining the reliability, availability and performance of critical live services.

The Role:

* Monitor, diagnose and resolve technical incidents, responding to monitoring alerts and Service Desk escalations.

* Provide technical support during major incidents, supporting service restoration, stakeholder communications and root-cause analysis.

* Take ownership of escalated issues, working closely with Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure teams and third-party suppliers.

* Drive service improvements and contribute to post-incident reviews and preventative actions.

* Maintain service tickets, incident records, operational runbooks and knowledge articles.
