A leading British luxury yacht builder is looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join its design team, working on the development and production of high-quality bluewater sailing yachts. The role is based in Wroxham

As Lead Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing electrical systems across the yacht range.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for producing accurate electrical drawing packages, including electrical schematics, panel designs and cable running schedules, while providing technical support to production and contributing to product improvement and R&D projects.

Key Responsibilities of Lead Electrical Design Enginee
Maintain and develop electrical design standards across the yacht range.
Produce, check and update detailed 2D electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
Develop contract-specific electrical CAD information for production.
Produce accurate cable running schedules, considering manufacturing and installation requirements.
Lead the Electrical Design Change Request process.
Ensure electrical design information is accurate and delivered to agreed deadlines.
Provide technical guidance to the wider Electrical Design team and Production Managers.
Manage resources and workload within the Electrical Design function.
