Our client is an established MEP consultancy based in Kent with a strong and growing reputation in the design of hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects across the UK and internationally. The Opportunity:
Spearhead a new business division, with a strong pipeline of hyperscale work.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Leading the mechanical design of hyperscale data centre projects including cooling infrastructure, chilled water systems, HVAC, adiabatic and free cooling solutions, and pipework distribution.
• Managing the end-to-end M&E design process, coordinating outputs across disciplines and ensuring quality, programme, and budget are maintained at every stage.
• Overseeing the mechanical procurement process — preparing performance specifications, equipment schedules, and tender documentation, and technically evaluating contractor and supplier submissions.
• Acting as the primary mechanical point of contact for clients, contractors, and the wider design team. xwzovoh
• Working closely with Electrical, Structural, and Civil disciplines.
