In this role, the successful CAD Technician or similar will be responsible for the design and delivery of predominantly HVAC systems for a variety of building services projects. In addition, you will also be responsible for preparing technical documentation of any projects worked, coordinating with cross functional teams, including the coordination of drawings from external suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, meeting both company and customer standards, ensuring projects fall in line with health and safety standards. On top of this, you will be responsible for producing and utilising dynamic blocks. Finally, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of O&M Manuals alongside CDM Files. The ideal CAD Technician or similar will have a background within the Building Services/MEP/Facilities Management/Construction industry or a related field, with prior experience in a CAD Technician position or similar. In addition, you will also have previous working experience using AutoCAD, and ideally, but not essentially, Autodesk, with a large majority of your drawings being 2D. On top of this, you will ideally have had experience drawing and utilising dynamic blocks. Finally, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, with the ability to work well both as part of a team and autonomously, as well as a full, valid UK driver's license.
