Reporting Accountant

We are working with a large Life & Pensions and Investments client who are looking for a Reporting / Senior Reporting Accountant to join their finance team.The role will support statutory and regulatory reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment, with exposure to financial reporting, technical accounting, Group reporting and external audit.Key Responsibilities• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, interim filings and regulatory reporting, including SFCR and Non-Actuarial QRTs.• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements, including IFRS, LUXGAAP and Solvency II.• Support financial close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and disclosures.• Prepare and support technical accounting papers for significant transactions and accounting judgements.• Assist with Group reporting, consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and reporting packs.• Support the external audit process, responding to queries and ensuring timely delivery of information.• Contribute to strengthening financial controls and driving improvements across reporting processes.About You• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience.• Experience in statutory and/or regulatory reporting, ideally within the insurance sector.• Strong knowledge of LUXGAAP, with experience preparing or reviewing statutory financial statements.• Experience with EU regulatory reporting, including SFCR and QRTs.• Good understanding of life insurance accounting and the Finance/Actuarial interface.• Experience with, or a strong understanding of, IFRS 17, Solvency II, Group consolidation, multi-entity reporting and financial control frameworks.• Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines.• Previous experience within the insurance industry is essentialDiscipline(s): Finance & StrategyJob type: Permanent
