This position is responsible for ensuring Prophet models remain robust, accurate and fit for purpose, supporting financial reporting, valuation, capital and pricing activities while contributing to the ongoing evolution of actuarial modelling across the businessKey ActionsDevelop, maintain and enhance actuarial models using Prophet Enterprise and Prophet ProfessionalSupport the end-to-end model development lifecycle including testing, governance, deployment and production releasesTranslate business requirements into technical modelling specifications and solutionsEnhance models to meet regulatory requirements and evolving business needsIdentify and implement automation and efficiency improvements to actuarial processes and model performancePerform model validation and testing to ensure reliability, accuracy and regulatory complianceMaintain robust model governance, documentation and change control standardsCollaborate with actuarial, finance, technology and wider business teams to integrate modelling solutionsProvide technical leadership and guidance on model development priorities and best practiceSupport internal and external audit activities relating to actuarial modelling and valuationsWhat do you need to thrive?Qualified Actuary or Senior Actuarial StudentExpert knowledge and practical experience of Prophet modelling and developmentIn-depth experience of actuarial valuations including IFRS17 and Solvency IIExperience developing and enhancing actuarial models to support valuation efficiency and new functionalityAbility to translate complex business requirements into technical model solutionsStrong understanding of actuarial modelling best practice, governance and controlsExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of stakeholdersExperience collaborating effectively across multiple teams and business functionsAbility to work under pressure within a fast paced and changing environmentExperience engaging with auditors and external actuarial partners
