The Organisation
Our client is a respected UK technology trade body that represents and champions the UK's electronics and semiconductor sector. It brings together companies across the supply chain, from start-ups to global players, and works closely with government on policy and international relations.
The organisation already runs a well-established manufacturing community. It is now building a dedicated chip design community, and this hire will lead it from the start.

Making Things Happen

- Lead and coordinate people and projects, including volunteers and partners outside your direct control.
Business Development And Relationships
- Build relationships with design companies, IP vendors, EDA providers, foundries, universities and investors.
- Grow membership and partnerships, bringing commercial sense to sponsorship and funding decisions.

- Project management experience, and ideally some team leadership.
- Commercial awareness, from budgets and sponsorship to how design companies make money.
Attributes
- A self-starter who makes things happen.
- Genuinely curious about technology, companies and people.
- A confident communicator, comfortable in front of senior executives, government and conference audiences.
