Contract Manager

Facilities Management Contract Manager Location: Woolwich Salary: 70K Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Role We are looking for an experienced Facilities Management Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of hard and soft FM services across a busy commercial site in Woolwich. This is a hands-on management role where you will lead the on-site FM team, ensure services are delivered safely and efficiently, maintain excellent client relationships, and drive operational performance. Key Responsibilities * Manage the day-to-day delivery of Facilities Management services. * Lead, motivate, and develop the on-site FM team. * Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard. * Monitor and achieve agreed service levels (KPIs and SLAs). * Manage budgets, staffing levels, and operational performance. * Oversee contractors and specialist service providers. * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and statutory regulations. * Carry out regular client meetings and provide service updates. * Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. * Support recruitment, training, and development of the FM team. * Manage small projects and coordinate planned works. * Ensure the team has the appropriate tools, equipment, and PPE. * Participate in the out-of-hours management rota when required. Requirements * Previous experience as a Facilities Management Contract Manager or Facilities Manager. * Strong knowledge of hard and soft FM services. * Experience managing planned and reactive maintenance. * Good understanding of CAFM systems. * Experience managing budgets, KPIs, SLAs, and contractor performance. * Strong leadership and people management skills. * Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance. * Proficient in Microsoft Office. * Full UK Driving Licence.
