School Site Assistant

Site Assistant Remedy Education are looking for a reliable and hardworking Site Assistant to join a school based in Lambeth, London. This is a great opportunity for someone with caretaking, premises, maintenance or site experience who is looking for a part-time afternoon role within a school setting. The school are looking for someone practical, trustworthy and proactive who can help keep the site safe, secure and well maintained. Role Details: Position: Site Assistant Location: Lambeth Hours: 1:30pm - 6:30pm Start Date: August School Type: School setting Pay: £16-£20 p/h, dependent on experience The Role: As a Site Assistant, you will: * Support with the general maintenance and upkeep of the school site * Assist with opening, closing and securing the premises * Carry out basic repairs, checks and site duties where required * Help ensure the school is clean, safe and well presented * Support with room set-ups, deliveries and moving furniture/equipment * Report any site issues, hazards or repairs needed * Work closely with the Site Manager, office team and senior leadership team * Follow health and safety procedures at all times The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Previous site, caretaking, premises or maintenance experience * School experience is desirable but not essential * A practical and hands-on approach * Good timekeeping and reliability * Strong communication and teamwork skills * A proactive attitude and willingness to help where needed * An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Assistant looking for a part-time afternoon role within a supportive school based in Lambeth.
