Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Capacity Lead to join our team in Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. This role is vital in enhancing mental health services and ensuring optimal capacity management. As part of our mission to support healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in improving mental health care delivery aligned with NHS values. The SGA/MCA Team is currently operating under Business Continuity arrangements, with activity prioritised to manage immediate statutory risk. While this approach ensures essential compliance, it has required the suspension of key supporting and assurance functions, creating ongoing pressure on the team and increasing organisational vulnerability. Responsibilities * Lead initiatives to improve mental health service capacity and efficiency. * Collaborate with NHS Trusts to develop strategic plans for mental health resource allocation. * Monitor and analyze capacity data to identify areas for improvement. * Provide expert guidance on mental health service delivery and workforce planning. * Support training and development programs for staff involved in mental health care. * Engage with stakeholders to promote best practices and innovative solutions. * Ensure compliance with NHS policies and mental health standards. Qualifications * Proven experience in mental health services or healthcare management. * Strong leadership and strategic planning skills. * Nursing background - Mental Capacity knowledge (Essential) * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. * Knowledge of NHS policies and mental health regulations. * Ability to analyse data and implement improvements
