Housing Managers

Ptarmigan, Shrewsbury (with travel across Shropshire) Contract: Permanent S T A R Housing is looking for two experienced and motivated Intensive Housing Managers to lead and develop key areas of our Intensive Housing Management service. This is an opportunity to manage and support frontline teams who work with vulnerable customers, helping them sustain their accommodation, maintain independence and achieve positive outcomes. As an Intensive Housing Manager, you will provide operational leadership to Intensive Housing Officers and associated staff, oversee service performance, manage risk and safeguarding responsibilities, and work closely with partners including Shropshire Council, health services, social care and voluntary sector organisations. Leading, developing and supporting frontline teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services. Overseeing tenancy sustainment, intensive housing management and support for customers with complex needs. Managing service performance, compliance, safeguarding and risk management arrangements. Ensuring properties, schemes and accommodation are safe, compliant and well managed. Experience managing workloads, service performance and improvement activities. Knowledge of housing management, tenancy sustainment and intensive housing management services. Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, health and safety and related legislation.
