Art & Design Teacher

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and creative Art & Design Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bolton. This is a long-term opportunity starting on 9th November or as soon as possible until July 2027, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

The school is flexible and can shape the timetable around the successful applicant's experience and specialisms. The role will involve either:

* A full timetable delivering KS3 Art, or

* A combination of KS3 and KS4 Art & Photography

This can be discussed and tailored depending on your strengths and teaching background.

The Role

* Deliver engaging and creative Art and/or Photography lessons

* Inspire students of varying abilities and encourage creative expression

* Plan and assess work in line with curriculum requirements

* Contribute positively to the wider department and school community

* Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

* Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

* Photography teaching experience is desirable but not essential
