An established furniture manufacturing business in Durham is looking to recruit two experienced Upholsterers on a full-time, permanent basis. With an hourly rate of £15.00 to £16.00 per hour rising to £17.00 for the right candidate this is a solid opportunity for a skilled upholsterer looking for stability and competitive pay in the North East.
Both positions are workshop-based in Durham, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with no weekend working required.

What the Upholsterer role involves:
Producing upholstered furniture to specification in a busy production workshop. Working across fabric, foam, springs, frames, and a variety of upholstery materials. Meeting daily and weekly production targets while maintaining a quality finish. Working as part of a close-knit and experienced workshop team.
Furniture Upholsterer - What we are looking for in an Upholsterer:
Hands-on upholstery experience in a workshop, production, or self-employed capacity. Ability to work across different upholstery styles and materials. A reliable, hardworking approach and good attention to detail. City and Guilds qualification or time-served trade experience is beneficial but not essential practical skill is what counts.
What is on offer:
