Legal Assistant Criminal Law Ref: BCR/JP/32459 Birmingham £26,000 - £28,000 (Depending on Experience) We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a well-established law firm in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous criminal law experience to provide legal and administrative support to a busy team. Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Supporting solicitors and fee earners with criminal law matters Preparing legal correspondence, court bundles and case documents Managing diaries, hearings, prison visits and key deadlines Liaising with clients, courts, police stations and barristers Maintaining case files and ensuring Legal Aid and GDPR complianceEssential Skills: Previous experience within Criminal Law is essential Police Station Accreditation is highly advantageous Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems Excellent organisation and attention to detail Professional communication and outstanding client care skillsIf you have previous Criminal Law experience and are looking to join a respected Birmingham law firm, apply now!
