HGV 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client based in Kirkby on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for a long-term position with a well-established company. What's on Offer: * £18.00 per hour * Temp to Perm * Monday to Friday working pattern * Occasional Saturday work available (pre-agreed in advance) * Long-term career opportunity The Role: * Class 1 driving with multi-drop deliveries across the UK * 2–3 nights out per week (this is not a full-time tramping role) * Securing all loads using ratchet straps * Completing deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time * Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately * Adhering to all drivers' hours and transport regulations Requirements: * Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Experience securing loads with ratchet straps * A good understanding of drivers' hours regulations * Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work If you're looking for a Monday to Friday role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position, we'd love to hear from you.
