Group Management Accountant

Our client is a multi-site, multi-brand hospitality and foodservice group, including franchised operations, entering a pivotal phase of its growth. They are looking for a Group Management Accountant to join a small central finance team; the role will report to a Director and be supported by two assistants and an external accountant.
Hybrid role, 2-3 days on site
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, across multiple entities
Produce site and brand-level P&L packs with variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year
Own weekly and monthly KPI reporting, including sales mix, labour %, food cost % and EBITDA by site
Monitor cash and working capital, including weekly cash forecasting, settlements, supplier terms, VAT and PAYE
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, debtor/creditor reviews and intercompany accounting
Support budgeting and rolling forecasts across sales, labour, food, overheads and capex
Track royalty, marketing levy and franchise fee obligations by brand
Maintain month-end processes and work with the external accountant and auditors to keep files audit-ready
Improve the flow of data from POS to the ledger and automate routine reporting
Key Skills
Multi-site hospitality experience is essential; experience in a multi-brand or franchised environment is a strong advantage
ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, or part-qualified with strong experience
Proven month-end, reconciliation and management reporting experience
Strong Excel skills, with experience of POS data and ERP or consolidation tools
Comfortable working in high-volume, low-margin trading models
Able to turn numbers into clear actions for site and operations teams
Hands-on and organised, comfortable working with a Director and an external accountant
