Listed: Sector: Interior Fitout & RefurbishmentLocation: LondonSalary: 70k - 90kEmail: : Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – DryliningLocation: London (office/site hybrid)Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceAbout the Company An established drylining subcontractor delivering partitions, ceilings, and SFS packages on commercial and residential projects across London, with strong tier-1 main contractor relationships and a healthy forward pipeline.Role Overview We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial delivery of drylining packages from procurement through to final account. You'll work closely with site management, design, and the wider commercial team to ensure packages are delivered on budget and risk is properly managed.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial cycle: subcontract/supply chain procurement, valuations, cost reporting, and final accountsPrepare and submit applications for payment and negotiate agreed valuations with main contractorsProduce monthly CVRs and report project performance to the commercial manager/directorTake off quantities and price variations/change control as they ariseManage labour-only and supply-and-fix subcontractor accountsAssess contractual entitlement under JCT/NEC forms and advise on notices/claimsLiaise with site managers to track progress against programme and resolve commercial queriesSupport estimating with historical cost data and benchmarking where requiredMaintain accurate records for variations, instructions, and correspondenceRequirementsProven experience as a QS within a drylining, partitions, or interior fit-out subcontractorStrong knowledge of SFS, GRG, and drylining systems and how they're measured/pricedWorking knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contract formsExperience managing subcontract accounts and final accountsStrong Excel skills; experience with cost management software (e.g. COINS, CMAP) desirableDegree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience (RICS/MRICS desirable but not essential)Good communication and negotiation skillsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary + benefitsProgression path toward Senior QS/Commercial ManagerInvolvement in a strong pipeline of commercial and residential drylining projects across London
