Operations Manager

A leading supplier of air distribution equipment in the UK is seeking an Operations Manager to ensure that the Company’s technical and operational environment is secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals. The Operations Manager will have previous experience in an operations management position, as well as have the ability to work to targets, be able to work well with others and be able to oversee business operations such as HR, finance and IT infrastructure. In addition, the Operations Manager have excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged Key Responsibilities: Set and monitor KPI’s and operational performance, recommending and implementing improvements where needed. Design, manage, and optimise business processes to support the growth of the Company. Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure smooth operations and support business goals. Plan and deliver development projects, ensuring they meet the scope, quality and budgets. Prepare and present reports to senior management on performances and any issues. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and HR procedures. Oversee IT infrastructure and systems including networks, servers, cloud services, and operational platforms to ensure availability, security, and performance. Plan and support audits for all areas of the business with the view of improving all aspects of the Company. Knowledge, skills and qualifications: Essential: Have strong experience working in an Operations Manager role or similar Have excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to work under pressure. Understand various business departments such as HR, finance, IT and more. Able to work well with others and bring the best of people Be hands-on in investigating, solving and implementing solutions Shift: Mon-Thurs (Apply online only), Fri morning on a 1-in-3 rota Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 DOE Benefits: 4-day work week, company pension (up to 5% matched), training, potential career progression
