Multimodal Export Operator - Freight Forwarding - Aberdeen - £35,000   About the Company   Our client is a well-established freight forwarding and logistics business, providing international transport and export solutions across air, sea and road freight. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Multimodal Export Operator to join their Aberdeen team.   This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a busy and supportive operations team, managing export shipments across multiple transport modes while delivering excellent service to a diverse customer base.   Multimodal Export Operator - The details Full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing training and career development opportunities Opportunity to work across multiple freight modes Long-term career progression within a growing logistics business  Multimodal Export Operator - Requirements Previous experience within freight forwarding or export operations Experience with freight forwarding systems and customs procedures would be advantageous A good working knowledge of at least two transport modes (air, sea or road freight) Experience preparing export documentation and customs clearances Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure Good negotiation and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently as well as part of a team Competent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel  Multimodal Export Operator - Responsibilities Manage export shipments from booking through to final delivery Coordinate the full shipment lifecycle, including tracking and invoicing Prepare quotations across multiple modes of transport, including air, sea and road freight Complete customs clearance documentation in line with current regulations Respond promptly to customer enquiries and shipment requests Liaise with customers, carriers, transport providers and overseas partners Ensure all operational activities are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the shipment process Work collaboratively within a busy operations team to ensure daily and weekly targets are achieved  About Us   Detail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
