Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.

Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal updates.

Maintain full compliance with food safety and food hygiene regulations.

Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and ensure efficient stock control.

Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.

Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.

Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Uphold company standards for quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Cook in a busy kitchen environment.

Strong knowledge of food safety , food hygiene , and allergen management .

Relevant food hygiene certification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Food Safety Certificate).

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results.

Strong communication skills.

Passion for cooking, creativity, and attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications Formal culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
