Satellite Operations Engineer

Spacecraft Operations Engineer | Glasgow (Onsite with Hybrid Flexibility) Are you passionate about space technology and mission operations? We're looking for a Spacecraft Operations Engineer to join an innovative team delivering cutting-edge satellite missions from launch through to routine operations. You'll play a key role in spacecraft commissioning, in-orbit testing, mission planning, spacecraft health monitoring, anomaly investigation, and the continuous improvement of mission operations and automation. What you'll be doing: Lead spacecraft commissioning and in-orbit testing. Command and monitor live satellite missions. Investigate and resolve spacecraft anomalies. Develop operational procedures and automation tools. Support ground testing, mission planning and readiness activities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. What we're looking for: Experience in spacecraft, satellite or mission operations (or a similar aerospace environment). Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Python or scripting experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of ground segment systems, Earth Observation, flight dynamics or RF/DSP is an advantage. Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
