NetApp Storage Engineer

Key Responsibilities - Design and implement enterprise storage solutions using NetApp technologies. - Deliver storage infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, technology refreshes, and transformation initiatives. - Configure and deploy NetApp storage environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance requirements are met. - Implement storage replication, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. - Work closely with server, virtualisation, network, and cloud teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions. - Participate in technical design workshops and contribute to solution architecture discussions. - Produce and maintain project documentation, implementation plans, technical designs, and handover documentation. - Ensure all solutions comply with security, governance, and operational standards. - Support project testing, validation, and transition activities. Essential Skills & Experience - Proven experience delivering enterprise storage infrastructure projects. - Strong hands-on experience with NetApp storage technologies. - Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale storage environments. - Strong understanding of storage networking and associated protocols. - Experience with storage migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh programmes. - Knowledge of virtualisation technologies, including VMware vSphere. - Experience with capacity planning, performance optimisation, and storage architecture best practices. - Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
