Freelance Estimator

Position: Freelance Estimator Location: Hybrid Freelance rate: £500 to £550 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)   Our client is a Tier 2 main contractor who currently enjoy a turnover of £90 million, delivering primarily New Build projects around the UK. They predominately operate within select business sectors including Logistics & Distribution, Multi-room & Commercial.   They generally deliver projects ranging in value from £5million up to £25million and negotiate the majority of their secured projects.   The Owners are keen to further develop and strengthen their Pre-Construction Team and due to the significant number of tenders coming through the door, they're actively looking to secure the services of a Freelance Estimator.   The Ideal Candidate will have experience of: Preparing detailed cost estimates for New Build & Refurbishment projects across various sectors. Take full ownership of tenders typically valued between £1m and £20m Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather accurate data. Develop robust pricing strategies and identify commercial opportunities whilst reducing risk. Assist in tendering processes by preparing competitive bids. Identify potential cost saving opportunities. Freelance rate: £500 to 550 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)
