Salary: £45,153.19 - £48,766.68 per annum

Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the efficient delivery of the Development Management function of the Council's Planning Housing and Related Services department, including the processing of planning and related applications in accordance with current procedure, policy and good practice. The role currently sits within the Local Review & Major Development team and has a particular emphasis on processing major planning and renewable energy applications as well as supporting the Local Review process. The successful candidate will also provide local development case handling cover and support on a geographic and/or thematic basis for the Development Management team as required, specifically to address peaks in workload.
Essential
- A degree, or post graduate qualification in Town Planning or related subject
- Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute
- A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
