Garden Centre Assistant

Garden Centre Assistant Newcastle NE13 £12.71 per hour Monday – Friday 9am – 4:30pm We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Garden Centre Assistant to join our client’s friendly team based in Newcastle, NE13. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has an interest in gardening and plants. Key Responsibilities: * Planting and caring for flowers and bedding plants * Creating and preparing hanging flower baskets * Moving and organising stock, including plants, trollies, and flower bedding * Assisting with general garden centre duties as required * Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment Requirements: * A positive attitude and good work ethic * Ability to carry out manual handling duties * Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors * Previous garden centre or horticulture experience is beneficial but not essential * Due to location, must have access to owen transport due to limited public transport
