This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with strong planning, procurement, and supply chain knowledge who enjoys driving operational efficiency and working collaboratively across multiple departments.   Planning & Supply Chain Manager Permanent Salary dependent on experience Working hours – Mon-Fri - 7am-4:30pm Gloucester Planning & Supply Chain Manager Job Description • Develop and manage production schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with operational requirements • Oversee purchasing and supply chain activities, ensuring materials and components are sourced cost-effectively and delivered efficiently • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing, monitoring supplier performance, and resolving any delivery issues • Support the implementation and ongoing development of ERP/MRP systems, stock control processes, and supply chain improvements • Work closely with operations, engineering, finance, and stores teams to coordinate production planning, inventory management, and project milestones Planning & Supply Chain Manager Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications • Previous experience within supply chain, production planning, or procurement in a manufacturing environment • Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with suppliers • Good IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems experience • A proactive and commercially minded approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
