The Role
We are looking for a Commercial HGV Technician to join our client's team. This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled and self-motivated technician who can diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and keep fleet operating efficiently. The company are an independently owned, family-run bulk fuel distributor based in Knowsley. They are a fast-growing business supplying commercial, local government, and marine customers.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
Prepare vehicles for MOT (DVSA standards)
Perform diagnostics and fault finding (mechanical & electrical)
Conduct general repairs on commercial vehicles
Complete all job cards and required paperwork accurately
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What Were Looking For
Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) with proven experience in a similar role
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and reliable
Experience working on commercial vehicles / fleet maintenance preferred xwzovoh
