An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Senior to join an established and growing accountancy and business advisory firm in Lancaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional who enjoys leading audit assignments, building client relationships and working with a varied portfolio of businesses across different sectors.

Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients.
Manage on-site audit fieldwork, ensuring assignments are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Prepare and review audit working papers, identifying key risks and ensuring compliance with relevant auditing standards.
Review financial statements and ensure compliance with FRS 102 and UK accounting requirements.
Supervise and support junior auditors, providing technical guidance and reviewing their work.
Liaise directly with clients throughout the audit process, developing strong working relationships.
Identify potential weaknesses in internal controls and communicate findings to clients and senior colleagues.
Monitor assignment progress, budgets and deadlines, escalating issues where appropriate.
Work closely with Managers and Partners on more complex audit matters.
Collaborate with colleagues across the wider practice to ensure clients receive a high-quality service.
